These terms cover your use of Youdle at www.youdle.io, including product search, grocery lists, watchlists and in-stock alerts, the Youdle community, the newsletter, and any Youdle form or page that appears inside an article on another site.
They are the second of three documents that work together: the Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, these Terms and Conditions set the rules for using Youdle, and the Permissions Notice explains the browser and device permissions we ask for.
By using Youdle you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Youdle on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
Youdle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You can create an account with an email address and password or by signing in with Google, Facebook, or Apple. Some features, including saved grocery lists, watchlists, community posting, and account settings, require an account. We may ask you to confirm your email address before certain features become available.
You can delete your account at any time from the My Account page. Deletion is permanent and removes the account data described in the Privacy Policy, including your community posts and comments, lists, watchlist settings, uploaded media, and newsletter record.
Youdle collects product, store, price, and availability information from retailers and other third-party sources. That information can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and stock changes constantly. Treat Youdle results as a starting point, not a guarantee: confirm with the retailer before you travel to a store or rely on a price.
Youdle does not sell the products shown in search results, is not a party to any purchase you make, and does not control retailer pricing, stock, fulfillment, returns, or recalls. Product links take you to retailer or partner sites that have their own terms and privacy practices.
Some Youdle features use automated processing and AI models, including interpreting searches, importing items from recipe text, reading handwritten grocery lists, classifying community posts, and generating Youdle Companion replies that may be posted as community comments.
These results can be inaccurate or incomplete and are not professional advice of any kind, including medical, dietary, financial, or legal advice. Review AI-assisted output before relying on it, and do not submit sensitive personal information to an AI-assisted feature unless it is necessary for what you asked for.
You keep ownership of the posts, comments, images, videos, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Youdle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and distribute that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting Youdle. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant that license.
Community content is public. Posts, comments, and uploaded media may be visible to anyone who can reach the community pages, including people who are not signed in. Posting as anonymous hides your name and profile photo in the normal post display, but the post remains linked to your account in our systems for operation, safety, and moderation; comments are always shown with your profile information.
Before uploading a photo or video, check it for anything you do not want public, such as faces, addresses, receipts, license plates, or reflections. Do not upload media you do not have the right to share.
When using Youdle, you agree not to do any of the following:
We may remove or restrict content, limit or disable features, apply rate limits, and suspend or terminate accounts when we believe these terms have been broken or when the service, our users, or our providers are at risk. Where practical we will tell you why, and you can contact us to ask us to review a decision. We may also keep limited records of enforcement actions for safety and abuse prevention.
Where watchlist and in-stock alerts are available, they depend on third-party data and are provided on a best-effort basis. They can be delayed, duplicated, or missed, so do not rely on them for urgent or safety-critical decisions.
The Youdle newsletter is opt-in, and every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. Service messages, such as email confirmation, password resets, and alerts you set up, are part of the service rather than marketing, and continue while your account or alert is active.
Youdle links to retailer sites, our news blog, our community group, our merchandise shop, and other third-party services. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or conduct. A Youdle signup form or page that appears inside an article on another site is still operated by Youdle and remains covered by these terms and our Privacy Policy.
The Youdle name, logo, site design, software, and original content are owned by Youdle or its licensors. These terms do not grant you rights to them beyond ordinary use of the service. Product names, retailer names, and other marks belong to their respective owners.
We add, change, and retire features, and we may limit or discontinue parts of the service. Youdle is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and to the extent permitted by law we make no warranties about availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, including the accuracy of product, price, availability, recall, or AI-generated information.
To the extent permitted by law, Youdle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from decisions you make in reliance on product, price, availability, alert, or AI-assisted information found on Youdle, or from a third-party retailer or service you reach through Youdle.
We may update these terms as Youdle changes. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Youdle after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Questions about these terms, a moderation decision, or a content report can be sent through the Youdle feedback form linked in our footer. For privacy requests, see the Privacy Policy; for browser and device permissions, see the Permissions Notice.
